The Morrison House was originally built around1760 on Rockingham Road and was moved in 1989 by the Historical Society to prevent its demolition. It is one of the few pre-revolutionary homes in Londonderry and is listed on the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places. The Morrison family came to Nutfield (now Londonderry) from Ireland in 1719. The house’s many original features include a large center chimney fireplace with beehive oven and brick hearth, interior shutters, wide pine floors, nine over six pane windows, feathered clapboards and 18 th-century door latches. It has been restored to how it might have looked in the mid-19th century.
